Hezbollah Says It Blocked Two Israeli Attempts to Enter Lebanon, Conducted 19 Attacks in the South
On Saturday, Hezbollah announced that it had thwarted two Israeli ground incursions and executed 19 assaults on Israeli soldiers, military vehicles, and locations in southern Lebanon utilizing drones, rockets, and artillery, according to Anadolu.
The organization stated through multiple announcements that its combatants observed an Israeli ground unit trying to enter the Maabar region near Kfartibnit in the Nabatieh governorate amidst hours of shelling and smoke concealment.
Hezbollah claimed it enticed the force into a pre-established ambush site, set off explosives, targeted the troops with medium-range arms, and then bombarded the region with intense artillery fire, compelling the Israeli unit to retreat.
In a different announcement, Hezbollah reported that another Israeli unit entered the town of Majdal Zoun in the southern governorate. It reported that its fighters confronted the troops using light and medium weapons along with rockets, destroying multiple military vehicles nearby.
