Two Israeli Cabinet ministers urged on Sunday to restart airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, despite a current ceasefire, according to Anadolu Agency.

“Dahiyeh should shiver,” he stated on the US social media platform X, alluding to the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich insisted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “demolish structures in Dahiyeh today.”
“The blaze threatening the northern villages is an examination of the Dahiyeh equation proclaimed by the Prime Minister,” Smotrich stated on X.

The demand from the extremist politicians followed a report by the army regarding a drone strike from Lebanon aimed at military sites in northern Israel.
The Israeli military persisted with its regular airstrikes in Lebanon, notwithstanding a tenuous ceasefire deal that has been active since April 17.
According to Lebanese officials, since March 2, the Israeli assaults have resulted in over 3,700 deaths, nearly 11,500 injuries, and displaced more than 1.5 million individuals.
